Lately, some sneaky spam and phishing emails have been making their way into students' inboxes, including fake offers to sell items or requests for donations.
Remember, if an email sounds too good to be true, it probably is! To keep your account and identity safe, always follow these quick rules:
- Check the Sender: Does the email address actually match who they claim to be?
- Don't Click Random Links: Phishing emails love to hide traps in links and attachments.
- Never Give Away Info
See something suspicious? Don't reply or try to buy anything. Report it to a teacher right away!
Voting is now open for the 2026-2027 York Region Presidents' Council.
